Machhindra Club advances to the AFC Cup second round
Kathmandu, By overcoming Bhutan's Paro AFC Club, Nepal's Machhindra Club has advanced to the second round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup Football Championship.
The Machhindra Club defeated Paro AFC by a score of 3-2 in today's match at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureswor.
The Martyr Memorial 'A' Division League's first-place finisher, Machhindra Club, seized the chance to play for the AFC Cup after league champion Church Boys Club was unable to do so due to an absence of an AFC license.
Bimal Ghartimagar, Ayush Ghalan, and Afij Olawal were the goal scorers for Machhindra.
Machhindra Club will play Indian Mohan Bagan Club in the second round after this victory.
