Nepal to Face Samoa in T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier Final Today
Kathmandu: Nepal is set to take on Samoa today in the final match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier being held in Oman. The highly anticipated clash will begin at 4:15 PM (Nepal time).
Both teams will be playing their final game of the tournament, with Nepal remaining unbeaten so far.
Nepal secured its place at the top of the standings with 8 points after defeating Japan and Qatar in the group stage. UAE and Oman currently sit in second and third positions, respectively, both with 6 points. Oman is scheduled to face Japan at 11 AM today.
If Nepal beats Samoa, it will be crowned champion of the T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier. Meanwhile, Nepal, UAE, and Oman have already confirmed their places in the T20 World Cup 2026 as the top three teams of the tournament.
