Rajbiraj Royals Clinch Title at Rajbiraj Mayor Cup Women’s T20 League

Rajbiraj, Nepal— The Rajbiraj Royals have emerged victorious in the Rajbiraj Mayor Cup Saptari Women's Pride League T20 Cricket Tournament, defeating Khadak Queens by 5 wickets in a thrilling final held at the local Pabima School Ground in Rajbiraj.

Batting brilliance by Apsari Begam, who scored a match-winning 62 runs, guided Rajbiraj Royals to a comfortable chase of the 130-run target set by Khadak Queens. Her performance earned her the Player of the Match title.

After winning the toss, Khadak Queens opted to bat first and posted a total of 129 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

  • Mamta Chaudhary top-scored with 62 runs off 49 balls, hitting 9 boundaries.

  • Tika Sah contributed 37 runs, while Alisha Yadav added 18 runs.

In bowling, Rajbiraj Royals’ Apeksha Yadav took 2 wickets, with Shivani Sah and Sakshi Yadav picking up 1 wicket each.

Chasing 130, Rajbiraj Royals reached the target in 18 overs, losing just 5 wickets.

  • Apsari Begam scored a brilliant 62 runs.

  • Apeksha Yadav added 33, and Chandani Khatun chipped in with 12.

For Khadak Queens, Bhumi Singh claimed 2 wickets, while Monika Singh and Sushmita Yadav took one each.
